Christ called the Church His ‘Little Flock’. It was His most endearing expression for the Church. “Do not be afraid, Little Flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom.” Lk 12: 32 I love that verse, and its promise of the kingdom! In our day and age, is it not a tremendous encour- agement to us? But we can also glean a few things from the expres- sion: The Church is a ‘Flock’: that means that it is cared for and led by shepherds. Read more…
The song I sang this weekend at graduation could not have been more appropriate!! Great is Thy Faithfulness. Thirteen years ago, in August of ’98 we said good bye to our 2nd daughter, Joanna as she started studies in psychology at Biola University, La Mirada, Calif. Today she works as a psy- chotherapist in Laguna Hills. We never guessed then that her baby sister, Julie, would one day follow in her footsteps. On Saturday Julie graduated from Biola, also with a degree in psychology.
